AMD Navi 21 XT is available with up to 2.4GHz clock and only 255W TBP

AMD will reveal the fact about the new Radeons in ten days, so the new information can now be based on real products that are slowly coming to market. Now comes the data on the Navi 21 XT, or, as expected, the second most powerful version. The really best one should bear the designation Navi 21 XTX and according to VideoCardz it is probable that it will no longer reach AIB partners. What does it mean?

Navi 21 XTX could be offered exclusively from AMD, so it would be something similar to the current TITAN cards from NVIDIA. This is judged by the fact that AMD’s AIB partners, unlike the XT version, know almost nothing about it yet, so there is only speculation that the XTX will have more CUs and higher clocks. And, of course, it’s also possible that everything will be different and the Navi 21 XTX will even be so exclusive that we won’t get it at all on the PC platform, so it will be a card only for Apple.

However, the AMD Radeon RX 6000 cards were already presented next to the Ryzen 5000 processors, or it was a very short demonstration, according to which it can be suspected that their PC versions should also fight the RTX 3080. Of course, we do not know if it was an XT version or to XTX.

But now Patrick Schur presents us with information about the Navi 21 XT, which is supposed to have 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, as well as 255W TBP or TGP and a Game Clock around 2.4 GHz. In the opinion of the VideoCardz server, this measure will be more valid for better non-reference card models, but it is still a respectable measure, given that the Game Clock is only the middle value, above which is still the highest turbo.

Furthermore, we learn from VideoCardz that all three versions of Navi 21, ie XTX, XT and XL, should have 16 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit interface. It still doesn’t look like memory throughput comparable to NVIDIA cards, and we can be even more curious about what’s behind the Infinity Cache report.

The total consumption of 255 W looks very good, which may mean that, in terms of the ratio of gaming power and consumption, AMD NVIDII will at least equalize. But this comparison will be addressed as a secondary one.
