Go away! Get out of here, Shapovalov shouted at the spectator in St. Petersburg

Denis Shapovalov had a well-played semifinal against Andrei Rublyov. However, he did not hold the lead and when he lost the serve in the third set at 2-2, he started gesturing and shouting towards the audience.

“Get out of here! Get out of here,” said the 21-year-old Canadian, who also vented his frustration in Russian. A native of Tel Aviv, Israel, whose parents come from Russia, was decided by one of the spectators, who was to cancel the world twelve before the first and second service.

“Denisi, I know who this is about. Leave it to me, I’ll take care of it,” reassured Shapovalov, umpire referee, and called the tournament supervisor to deal with the unruly fan.

Shapovalov, who is aiming for a premier start at the Champions Tournament, did not succeed in the ribs until the end of the match and eventually lost 6-4 3-6 4-6. Next week, he will play the role of a deployed troika in Cologne, Germany.
