The Ministry of Health has decided to provide other interesting data concerning the development of the coronavirus epidemic in the Czech Republic. This created the first maps that show how the disease is spreading in individual municipalities.
The disease is now spreading the fastest in the Plzeň-sever district and in the Zlín region, where 721 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants have been recorded in the last seven days. It is followed by Uherské Hradiště with almost 700 infected people, Plzeň-město with 696 and Příbram region with 691 infected per 100,000 inhabitants in the last week. Currently, only the Most region has below 200 data.
While you will find a map on the specialized coronavirus website of the Ministry of Health, which provides an overview of the incidence of laboratory-proven COVID ‑ 19 disease by individual districts, more detailed maps have already appeared this week.
People can now learn how the coronavirus is spreading right in their community. The current map is available, for example, on the Seznam Zprávy website or on the Novinky.cz server.
