In the third round, Boston chose Grzelcyk draft 2012 from the overall 85th place, so far he has played 197 matches in the basic part and collected 54 points (10 + 44).

He added 43 starts in the playoffs and has ten points (4 + 6). After Torey Krug left for St. Louis has a bigger game load ahead of him, in addition, the Bruins have not yet agreed with the Slovak defender Zden Chár, who is an unlimited free agent.

“He has a great opportunity, he will have more space in the offensive and in power play. I talked to the coaches how he would fit in and how he could affect our game, but it’s up to him how he will use it for his growth.” cited the NHL website of “bears” general manager Don Sweeney.
