It can be seen from the renderings that the Galaxy S21 got rid of the rounded edges of the display and the frames became thinner again. Older speculations pointed to the fact that the Galaxy S21 series could get rid of the classic selfie camera; this would be replaced by a sub-display solution, however, in the end it should remain a classic and this technology should be introduced by the South Korean giant with the third (or fourth, if we count the first “downloaded” variant) generation of the flexible Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The dimensions of the smartphone should remain similar to the classic Galaxy S20. The display should have a diagonal of 6.24 ″ (compared to 6.2 ″ for the S20). Further details on hardware parameters have not yet seen the light of day. It is also speculated that Samsung should introduce the Galaxy S21 model line earlier than it did this year – the Unpacked event could allegedly take place in January next year.
Although Pigta has often been “hit” in the past, it is still necessary to take this information with caution. But it will definitely be interesting to see how much these first unofficial renders will differ from the real version of the Galaxy S21.
Another leaker confirms the look of the phone
Another of the trusted leakers, Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks), apparently got to the same CAD files as Pigtou, and also based on this material published visualizations that, except for a few details, match the first ones from this morning. This adds credibility to both the leak and the visualizations.
Steve also specified what the dimensions of the basic Galaxy S21 should be – 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9 mm (9 mm in place of the camera module). The entire portfolio should consist of a total of three smartphones – Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra. Inhibitor material also confirms the January date of the performance.
